Magicka – приключенческая экшен-видеоигра от третьего лица, выполненная в стиле греко-скандинавской мифологии. Действия сюжета повествуют про сказочный мир, полный волшебства и магии. На эту планету обрушился хаос, созданный руками злого чародея. Он посылает армии демонов на мирные города, они захватывают жителей и сеют везде полную неразбериху. Вам предстоит взять контроль над могущественным магом из таинственного ордена, чтобы остановить колдуна и восстановить мир.
Вначале вам будут доступны базовые заклинания, чем больше вы убиваете противников, тем больше количество способностей можно открыть. Все применяемые магические навыки нужно комбинировать, заставляя врагов бояться главного героя. Вы можете использовать огромное количество умений на отряды соперников, чтобы оглушить их, нанести им урон, а после убить.
В Magicka можно общаться с второстепенными персонажами и выполнять побочные квесты, за которые протагонист получит повышенную награду. Помимо заданий от NPC, нужно выполнять ключевые миссии, чтобы продвигаться по сюжету.
По всему игровому миру вы сможете забрести в секретные локации, содержащие определенных боссов и множество крутых вещей в сундуках. Торгуйтесь с продавцами, продавайте им ненужные вещи и получайте золото, за которое можно приобрести лучшие посохи, одежду или амулеты.
